Also, tapatalk is independent of mobile skins. Active the mobile skin and tapatalk and let people use what they want? Don't really see any of your points.

Maybe there is some setting you can switch off so it doesn't do that every day you visit the site on a mobile browser.

I also run a VB4 forum and preferred the mobile skin, personal preference at the end of the day. My view is you shouldn't need to buy an app to view a site on your mobile device.

Yes, the dialog box is a extra javascript and is no must have. Most people skip the header edit on install these days.

Since this forum is still 3.x and tapatalk beeing a simple upload install, we might get this first until the forum is updated to 4.x one day and we can have the mobile skin too? Atm, reading with mobile devices ist sort of not so funny since there is none of the available options present.

Is there a chance that a mobile version might be coming in the near future? I've found that in my android browser I'm unable to type anything into the text box in private messages.

definately hard forum to type on anywhere on Dolphin Browser HD... i am using an HTC incredible, so its small to start with.
I would also love to see tapatalk, but the forum is great either way.

Why need TapTalk? I just view the site on my phone as it is on my PC. I hate phone themes on sites. They are always worse than the standard site. then again, in Japan our unlimited data usage really is unlimited unlike the shit you guys have to put up with in the west. I guess that may come in to it.

Forums on tapatalk is much better than viewing on a PC or even mobile version. You really should check it out. I view alll my forums that support Tapatalk on the Tapatalk app ( there are Android and iOS versions). I really am trying to shy away from using a computer these days, and apps like that are clear proof that you dont always need a computer.
