    Hey all.

    Delivery was super quick, even though I am in the UK!

    I can't solder to save my life. I swear that on on the uppe-right most joint I joined a few pins together! My first attempt did not work and I melted a lot of the plastic on the chip. My second attempt somehow worked! A piece of advice to people - use thin wire as my solder was 0.6mm wide and it was far too thick for the job!

    I use 0.7mm solder with no problem.

    I do not use wire, I just solder the chip directly to the pads.

    Glad you got it all working. Yes I use very thin single strand modding wire to to perform the installs. Making mistakes is how you learn and get better at this sort of stuff.
