Packing again

:/ packing again 4th time ive moved house in the last 2 years, although this time im moving out to uni. but i still find all this packing and unpacking really depressing :'(

Agreed. I hate moving when I was younger. Now a days it sucks but not as bad since me & my wife don't own a lot of big furniture.

I feel you, I moved 4 times in the last 5 years. Plus I helped my mother move 2 years ago and my sister move last year. Sometimes I wish I could just settle somewhere forever, but on the other hand I enjoy a new environment. It just sucks to move around a lot of stuff, also it is money and time consuming.

Wow, 4 times in 2 years is a lot! I thought I was the one who moved a lot, I move in to a new apartment every 1,5 years, dunno why, it just happens, lol. This has been going on since 2003.

And yes, you become pretty damn good at packing.

The houses were pretty shitty tbh. The first was huge and nice. 3 or 4 bedrooms, living room basement and kitchen amongst others. problem? The drains were knackered and when it rained heavily the basement would flood (thankfully it was just muddy water not sewage.

The second was FILLED with rats. We got in and thought it was ok. At night the bastards came out. We ended up packing up anything we'd unpacked and moved our shit to somewhere across the street. Next day we moved into a house next door that had the exact same problem. (so numbers 5 and 7 had rats)

Same thing and a day later we were in number 11 which was nice. My mother lived there from probably 2001 or so up until she passed and only had one rodent problem when the scruffiest fucks you've ever seen moved in next door at say 2007 or 2008.. We promptly bought these wall plug things that give out a sound unhearable to humans and never saw the rats again.
