Telecheck the bane of all e-check writers

Remember 2 years ago I went to get my laptop and the check was rejected?

WELL the evil check rejection happened again This time when I tried to get a text book on amazon for my social psychology it was $164 through and only 128 on amazon.

SO I ordered my new Arcade stick and a new USB adapter for my laptop using an e-check...everything went smoothly no rejections or anything....

This morning I wake up and findout these assholes at Telecheck blocked my e-check for a text book from going through

Turns out thousands of others who knew they were good for the checks they write have had this happen to them. Yet Telecheck has not been shutdown

They've been sued a number of times, lost their BBB accredication yet, K-Mart, Wal-mart, Amazon Best buy all use them to authorize E-checks...only it's system is broken as fuck.

Anyways my soultioun this time I took money out of my account today (NO ISSUE AT ALL) and I'm going to get a pre paid debit for online shopping purposes.

But the mystery of the rejected checks has been solved...and I have a new Nemesis...Telecheck

their customer service line is non existent too

I could but since I have a joint account I have with my mother (So it's not taxed) it's kind of a pain since My mom's name is on the account but she other wise has absolutely nothing else to do with it.

I have an ass backwards way of doing things anyway.

And who's to say Telecheck won't be a dick about a Check card either?

shouldn't a check card go through visa or mastercard anyway?

oh I agree. I actually have switched to using them for online purchases. Much safer and give a far better exchange rate then my bank does. Plus depending on which type you get, some only need nothing more then a postal code for them to work with online purchases.

I'm kind of paranoid after the massive account hacking post PSN hack.

Amazon won't have any problems with them I've contacted play-asia about them so they can get my business again.
