Surely having fag burns on a Japanese cabinet is all part of the authentic experience? All you need is the strong smell of smoke, a lack of natural light, some neons / led lighting and a looped tape of button tapping and you would feel like you were there.

You forget the imaginary stares by people behind you that keep making you show off although in reality they are either looking at something completely different or there's no one there in the first place.

I wouldn't recommend using retrobright in your case. I've heard that for big parts retrobright can make them warp (though I personally never tried it). The difference in colour is absolutely normal as the CP and bezel are made out of different materials. I bought one new naomi cab a few years ago and even then there was a slight difference in colour. In your case it doesn't look bad at all. But anyway if you try it please let me know the result!

This is true, even if you would be able to purchase a new net city the colors are different....the materil is the reason
