SMS Games that don't work on EVERDRIVE

I tried a bit to see if this was already discussed in the past, but there are so many posts to search through, I couldn't really find anything. So I'll just re-open it.


I bought an Everdrive MD so that I could also have the benefit of playing SEGA MASTER games on my genesis as well. But I'm finding that several I love to play aren't working. Can anyone tell me if you got these working and whether or not it's just bad roms I have, or what??

OS 23, FW 8 all three freeze within the first two levels on my NTSC model 1 TMSS version. Actual cart of Enduro Racer (J) works fine through Mark III converter.

begins from firm v9 fixed any hangs or glitches.
if some games not work at all on EDMD with new firmware, then such game used not supported vdp mode or not standard mapper (usually codemasers games and some korean games)

Unfortunately, most of the problems stem from NTSC/PAL incompatibility. In many cases, you assume a game was NTSC because it's a USA/Hollywood license, but it was only released in PAL region. In fact, many of these games will actually work fine on a Mega Drive/Genesis, because it has fixed those issues, although other games will not work on the MD.
