DS Castlevania

Wow, that ne Castlevania game for DS is looking ighty good, there are new screen shots at The Magic Box.
In terms of graphics, it looks way better than the GBA titles, but i wanna know about the sound quality.
Lets hope that this turns out to be closer to Symphony, rather than the GBA games.
By the way, DS owners, what do you think of your litle consoles sound capabilities?

Really looking forward to this one. I sure hope they give the audio the attention is deserves. I think the DS has a great little sound chip. Mario 64DS sounds great but the other game I have, Band Brothers (Forget the real name) is sort of a beatmania type game. That is a game you'd expect to have shit hot audio but it doesn't. Like a GBA at times :smt009 still, it's not that bad I guess. They could have easilly matched the quality of Beatmania though. Bloody wonderswan beatmania has the same audio as the arcade. OK, it's at a lower rate but it's still there.

Wow, i just saw the Castlevania DS video at IGN. This system 2d rules!. I hadnt decided what to buy, a DS or PSP, but seeing that the PSP will moslty get 3d games and that the DS 2d is so good, i have decided who the winner is:
Nintendo DS!

PSP 2D is very likely to look better if done right, though.

Bloody wonderswan beatmania has the same audio as the arcade. OK, it's at a lower rate but it's still there.

I know a guy that sells a boxed copy for 8 euros if you're interested, though my attempts at contacting him have been in vain. And mind that the "wheel" on the Wonderswan Beatmania is just for show, it doesnt affect anything.
