I think Japhei only paid for more expensive shipping in order to have the carts first. A week later, over distributors started to offer it as well.

How was that meet-up even arranged? Given Japhei's infamy, I would think he would be more afraid for his well-being to meet up with someone, let alone give out his information (Unless it's already out in the open?). I mean, I'm sure there are loads of pissed off people just waiting to get their hands on him.
