I guess it's dumb for me to even ask, you don't exactly just tell everyone who bought an expensive item from you. No doubt it sold for lots I'd assume anyway, since besides a huge pile of cash I can't see any reason the auction would be ended early.
Unless this is a fake, we probably won't be hearing anymore about this disc.

You could buy a PC, video capture card, chipped playstation and a digital camera and get family decent ones for under £1,000 easily, now you could have easily made 10 times that outlay if the game was real, personally anyone who knows 1.5 and how much people want would have easily spent that money to prove what they had knowing people would actually cough up cash if you could prove without a shadow of a doubt that you had what you said.

It says "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available." Does this mean he removed it himself? I would have atleast gone through and waited for it to sell i have had one of my items reported once and it sold. . (Twas swap magic XD)
he either sold it outside ebay or someone sent him an offer, gamesniped posted the auction so who knows. whoever bought it is scammed for sure if it actually sold and hes not trolling

I hope you realize that this might have gone for big money (presuming it hasn't) maybe even up to 10k if you'd have just taken proper pics and proved it's authenticity beyond any doubt, your loss.
Time to time such things reappear, i have witnessed many of them, it is a very interesting item and has such 'happenings' connected with it. After I read this we all think it is/was a fake. Although I am suprised that that non proofed item the thread got to 12 page? wow, I am amazed.
So was the one who actually sent him a private offer outside ebay from here?

As has been said before just a troll making stupid fake thing and nobody buys it. OR it was a real deal and we lost the chance. Nevertheless, until he does not return with real proof I believe that he was liar.
To the seller: if you really have 1.5 and want to make cash from it, contact me, in a specific proof procedures witch I guide you I am willing to spend a lot of money of a working copy, and we are speaking more than 5K$ if required.

dont think so, if he posts proof via here or private pm, only then such thing would be needed. Right now we are situated as it is more or less a fake atempt to make a white noise on this board. Proof -> money collecting -> deal -> we are happy. I am quite sure he is reading still these boards and laughing. But I dare him, give as a proof and you will be rewarded. Easy. But by seeing he is not communicating... well other than hope there is nothing in it. Old timers know that it takes a new picture of 1.5 to shake the community for serious deal. And I have stopped counting. I have had many deal of 1.5. I have had even very authentic deals where I truly believe I have found it, but after hours of analyzing and mysteric disappearences of sellers I have ended up nothing in my hands. One of the best fakes I had shaked my world comletely. I got many very authentic pictures, witch where very very well made fakes. We agreed selling aroud 6K$ and I was planning to visit his country to make deal hand to hand. But it failed. So, there is no need to panic in this situation. The whole aspect of offer and information he provided is very questionable. As I have seen lately, this has become a trend of lately. Easy going little kiddies see money in it. Yes, It is defenately one of the most valuable beta item in collections. If I had it, I would probably end collecting, although I am interested in any build of 1.5. This game is on my top list with seperate funding box of real money waiting for serious offer...
One side note about trade of such valuable item is that even if one of us get it (or already has it ;)) it is very slim possibilty of public release. I mean if you really put a many thousands of dollars in it, then you have no other choice to posess it. And the contract itself might but original seller under threat if it will go to public. Although time has been passed and it is very old. It will get leaked sooner or later, perhaps a year, 5 , or even 10. But it will happen. There are few builds leaking around from hand to hand. It is just matter of time until it get to right hands who will help to spread it. But I really wouldnt put any effort to this thread anymore until he posts some info. I have searched this game for more than a decade. I have done it with systemati approach but nothing. Nothing have come up yet. And thats a little bit sad. A lot of searchers have gave up, but not in case of me. I have determined that I will have it in my collection and I really would love to share it with community cous fans deserve to have it. It is after all a totally new game to play and explore!

The matter of fact is. If he knew what 1.5 is he clearly knew the high price. Lets say this was a legitimate copy and it actually had 1.5. How fucking difficult is it to run out and buy a cheap camera (2 mega pixel ones here are like £30 more than affordable and would take a decent picture) or borrow one? When 1.5 finally finds its way out if there person is charging they're easily going to make back 1k. What did they give? £30 and a bit of labour?
The new members coming forward are either him or the hardcore 1.5 people that would pay large sums of money for something that isn't substantiated. See also: fools.
