This wave is really weird, but what's alan wake leak ?

Screenshots of a new Alan Wake game were leaked by Robert Kendo. Microsoft then sent out a ban wave.

I know a few that got banned. Anyway, thanks to one idiot leaking a screenshot of an unannounced game we all have to be very careful now, and I hope idiots like him have learnt something..

i really dont think that alan wake was the reason to this ban... i had a friend who has had his kit for 3 years and has never added anyone as a friend to it or anything and just used it to test personal apps and his unit got owned.i mean lets be real ms must really not give a crap. look at ps3 sp-int is now ip filtered to keep all non whitelisted ips from downloading devnet content for free etc etc. they did it in no time.

Given how openly Chinese sellers re-sell kits and not destroy them, it's not surprising MS is cracking down.

Slightly off topic: When MS bans a console, do they brick it as well? I assume most people here do some kind of procedure to prevent bricking, given how careful ASSEMbler users are at dissecting hardware.

All chinese kits now come with r6t3 removed, if not they will get bricked on any attempt to connect to pnet.

I think he was caught scamming people on the boards, but I wasn't involved. If he was indeed scamming, he should be banned like Raylyd.
