Yes, because Virtual Racing, Nights Into Dreams, Rez, Outrun and VF 10th Anniversary are all worth $5 a piece like most PS2 common games. :sarcasm:

Do your research before you bash people's auctions. That's a great price. Getting the system and games individually would run you well more than that, none the less in the condition shown. And being a member so long, you'd think you'd know how to properly conduct yourself when referring to someone else's sale. If you don't like the price for what you get, walk on by.

A few games had the treatment. Apparently scarce as I recall.

Too bad finding master system games on ebay is annoying now, with most being overseas. they've screwed over the site's search engine. "any country/region" doesn't work how it used to (sometimes even disappearing).

Do remember that this is Ebay discussion, not ebay sales listing, so we are allowed to comment on Ebay sales, as there is a mixture of user and non user sales posted here. I never said that they were ultra cheap common games, but calling the games rare is a little bit too much like Ebay speak. Rare should mean very hard to find and most of the games listed can be found without too much hassle. To be fair most of those games you can pick up for around 200 to 1000 yen in Japan without too much trouble, I sold a copy of Rez a while back for $6 and even then I struggle to sell it... The red PS2 slim is very uncommon granted and the person who won the auction did get a reasonable deal.

If the ebay listing had said "Rare red PS2 with excellent retro games" then that would have be a more honest statement.

Don't if you guys know of the site, but I often use shopusa.com, they make all the hassle go away with purchasing from the US to at least Europe, don't know if the ship elsewhere.
But they pay the tax and everything in advance, and on many items it's still profitable. Orderer a set of wheels for a mustang, and ended saving something like 40%:O
