Another "I stood in a line, got something signed and obviously it adds $2450 to the value..." idiot. This probably should be in the Ebay hall of shame thread...

Agreed, it's a GBA not a piece of high art. If these sellers were so convinced of these items' worth they'd be on 0.99p starts and the bids would flood in, the fact that they aren't and don't speaks volumes.
Friend of mine is the seller, he's selling off a bunch of his stuff:

Well it's nice to see people start calling me idiot for putting up an auction.
1. Signed items usually raise in value (Noone saying 2000+ in value) but they are worth more to the people who are interested.
2. Show me a mint Golden GBA for 50bucks and i would buy it in a heartbeat!
3. I only posted the auction to see interest for it, Seeing as it already got 1k+ views it sure got a bit of attention atleast and maybe i can get in contact with a serious buyer who is willing to make a deal.
4. Other signed (By shiggy and others) items have been sold for more accourding to videogameauctions.com
5. I actually got two items signed that day. The other one meaning alot more to me and is the one i will keep as a memory of meeting shiggy.
6. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but there is no need to go around calling people names.
Thought you were meant to have 50+ posts before advertising/promoting your item?
Yes. If you had put it up at say $250, then it would be an auction. Putting it up for $2500 which is a lot more then it is worth is being stupid. You also put a single poor picture, with only your word that it is mint and that it has a box, etc.
Signed items do add value but you must be smoking some kind of strong crack if you think it adds that much to the value, with a laughable $3000 BIN...
An auction which had three items signed by Shigeru Miyamoto, Hironobu Sakaguchi and Hideo Kojima only went for $800 and 90% of that went to the Red Cross...
Saying a website has said similar items have gone for more is a bit of a joke as you've again not shown any proof and even 15 minutes searching failed to find anything with a price and even other Miyamoto signed games have gone for around $150 or so.
Using weasel words of "Seeing how much interest there is" is again a cop out as you know it will have interest and effectively you are posting it as a, "I do have this please PM me with series offers..."
Fair enough critisism on the fact that i havent added more pictures. Alltho the price is still up to me to decide. You dont have to buy it. But you have no right and will never ever have to decide the price i put up. I mean it costed me what. 1 dollar to put the auction up. It was not a big deal for me. If noone is interested after a while i will prob lower the price.
took me 1minute to google this

my friend who also got one signed item that day (A normal silver gamecube) Sold his for 1100 so.
Now sitting at home in your chair calling people stupid over the internet because you want them to sell their rare stuff cheaper is cool. I'am right here ya know and you could have just asked for the reasons or presented your arguments to why the price was high to me in a mature way.
The price is certainly up to you to decide, however, this is a community of collectors which helps each other find bargains and locate rare items that they need. It appears that all you are is an opportunist looking to squeeze maximum profit out of something that is not that rare or valuable. As such, you're not really contributing anything to this community and people should be free to criticize your ridiculous auction.
This is a community yes, Its true that linking my auction did not help anyone get a bargain. And im sure that there are pretty much posts that does not help others get bargains in this community. And im pretty sure this is for many people just another place to find what you need for your personal collection.
All i am? No alltho with this auction i am looking for the maximum amount i can get for it. If i cant get that much, obviously im not gonna sell for that much right? Lets say i would set it at 150 starting bid first time never seen one on ebay before. and it goes for 250dollar. Thats nothing in my eyes for it and it wouldnt be worth selling in my opinion. Since its my item its my opinion that matters in this situation.
Mystical figured the situation out without calling someone an idiot etc. Take a chill pill Bojay1997. You are welcome to discuss and comment my prices and items photos and auctions but calling someone an idiot first thing you do when hes in the same community you so dearly spoke about, Is immature and unessecary.
To sum it. question my auction, prices and info all you want please. It would help me improve. But dont go around calling me names for no reason. Thats all i ask and i would assume it should be possible to get in a fine community like this is.
Price it at whatever you want. I dont know why people are so seemingly hurt over the prices that people set, or wanting to make money. It's a trend lately, something that was highly frowned upon in the past here. Sell it for what you think its worth, if no one buys it, then no one loses. If someone does, then someone will be happy regardless.
