Do you know who made the material on the demo disc? Wanna bet they didn't only do work on M2s?
Realistically it was probably not intended to be included on the disc and got there by accident. Often times you can find source code embedded in dumps of roms from carts that clearly wasn't intended to be there.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.
Is that logo seen anywhere else? I've never seen a triple-spiral like that for Dreamcast.
I think i've found the link between this picture and the M2.
A company called Planetweb made the internet browser for dreamcast and M2, and probably re-used some graphics as APE suggested.
