I haven't played Strahl. I have played Triad Stone on Laseractive, which is supposedly the same game. It's a Dragons Lair type game where if you're too late in pressing the button, you see the death scene. If you hate these action on rails type of game, then it is not for you. There are some good action scenes in the game though.
However I looked at the back of the box for Strahl on Saturn. It says that there are 48 different endings depending on how well you do. This definitely was not the case in Triad Stone. So, if you still want to buy Strahl, you may find some replay value. But, I doubt that it's anything more than the ending scene becoming longer by 1-48 seconds.
starfighter was a good 3do game, much better than the ps1 and saturn versions
wait and bleed
There is also a region lock on Wolfenstein 3D. The PAL version will not play on a US 3DO, you just get a message telling you so.
There was a US release of Star Control 2 as well. Great game, I want a 3DO just for this game. Has some good voice acting in it, at least that's what I remember. It's not a FMV, but more like a space RPG.
Also even though it does have FMV in it, it doesn't take way the game is Wing Commander III. Great space combat sim. Did Super Wing Commander come out on the 3D0 as well? I can't remember.
=hugh
I only heard about Alone in the Dark and Doctor Hauzer, not sure if they're good.
Insert stupid poem here.
Here's a video showing the warning message you get when trying to play PAL Wolfenstein 3D in an NTSC 3DO:

Star Control. Best game on 3do
Even on Mac where it's exactly the same as PC one ? Or PSX Final Doom which had master levels turned into normal single player iwad ?
For 3DO Doom well, i can't understand why it had a lot less levels than PC one, it was the f....ng cdrom after all. But music was just great.
Well, if you like puzzle games the Incredible Machine is pretty good.
