Those "retarded" scene releases all have files within the zips called FILE_ID.DIZ, which gives you a perfectly easy to understand description.
IE: czn-nbac.zip

You may not realize it, but 8.3 filenames were important for most BBS's that ran on non Windows OS's (99% of them). The BBS software would extract the FILE_ID.DIZ and display it next to each file while browsing.
I assume everything pre-cracked for the V64 should work on this problem free. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Oh wow spoonman, thanks, I totally didn't realize what nfo files and diz files are. I also didn't realize it was the year 2011 and that people would still be reluctant to name files to something you can actually discern without having to individually open every single file.

No one owes you anything. These cracks were made by talented people who should be respected and thanked for their work.
Now stop whining about how they kept the original scene file names and if it bothers you that much than change them yourself. Simple as that.
Krikzz made something awesome here and it should be respected as well. So any replies to this will be ignored.

How these crack work on everdrive 64? There is *.IPS and *.APS files... Is there some kind of program how to put these cracks on roms or just rename it like the rom name is?

i had to suck up my pride and install parallels and install windows 7 so i could use ips patchers it may eat up half my ram and make osx run slow till i quit parallels .
Why not just use ucon64 in terminal.app or something?
