Humm he's only dumping NAOMI GDROMs, not sure who's dumping Triforce GDROMs then.
edit: He's posted the key for booting on the source page and guru is doing triforce dumping, http://mamedev.org/source/src/mame/d...riforce.c.html

    i cant find them.
Go here for some of the triforce decryption keys.
    http://guru.mameworld.info/naomi/index.html

Example: Virtua Striker 4 Export(which has been dumped and can be found easily online) is 0BB58579C846C1DC.

The keys work fine as I have used them to decrypt chihiro games I have.

I hope that the guys doing the triforce emulation have better luck than the dolphin team. They were able to get virtua striker and mario kart gp running on dolphin but couldnt get them to a playable state.

I too would be interested in getting them running on dolphin, please.(Yes, I know that the games arent playable at this point.) I already know how to decrypt the games.

No, we were talking about the .gcm file that's encountered when the Triforce BIOS is dumped. See here: http://debugmo.de/2008/08/triforce_type3/

I have mario kart GP1 and 2 decrypted dumps (straight off the nand carts and decrypted with the DES PIC keys), the IPL dump (from my triforce), the ASIC decrypted dump (dumped from my triforce and decrypted with the EEDDCCBBAA8866442200 DES key) Several segaboot.gcm dumps from type 1 and 3 Triforces. (A friend's type1 and my type3)

Not sure how legal it'd be to share any of these though.

Being able to play Mario Kart GP on the Wii would be amazing. :O

It's pretty cool to see triforce games running on the Wii, without a problem...well apart from input.

I believe getting them run requires some patching on checks and DI commands, the controls would be the hard part afaik

As we all know from "ps3-scene" youre always posing and teasing.
    Got some proof for us?

And files should be safe from 2004, when has the Triforce seen Arcade release? Oh yes 2002 according to the wiki.

I believed this board to actually be drama free and without people basing opinions on say-so rather than facts, but since this isn't the case and you seem to fancy actual proofs, here are some screenshots of the files I just talked about.

    http://twitpic.com/8lslc5/full
    http://twitpic.com/8lsl59/full

Since you asked for "proof" (which is usually what people do when they try to have me "share" things I have with them) you may now seek help elsewhere for I won't be providing any of it anymore.
And actually the asic decryption was mostly based on tmbinc's work (I am not hiding it) but at least unlike you, I have done something (such as dumping the type 3 segaboot containing the asic dump in the first place).
It is actually rather easy to gain code execution on the Triforce without relying on hardware mods. (Well it's actually very easy to pwn the Triforce to begin with but I don't even need to prove that, a few minutes reading blog posts on debugmo.de should convince you of that fact)

As to the "posing" part, did it not occur to you for even one second that I may actually have achieved all the things that I displayed/talked about ? Just saying...

Here for good measure, my triforce actually running the mario kart games (how is that for "proof" ?)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oL1upD9bXEw
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imomGy1UQTs
(As to the bad quality of these videos, those were taken from my Nexus one camera as they are rather old as you may see from the youtube date, these are still very much watchable though)

P.S. You just seriously pissed me off. (and I am really tired of the pointless drama, I left the (worthless) ps3 scene for a reason)

Of course the files would have to be patched, and most likely made into a .gcm file as I believe that's how SNEEK works (am I right?).

Yes, input would be the most difficult, but it wouldn't be any different than input for any other emulation right?

yippie got it extracted. but doesnt know what i can do with an extracted Mario Kart GP2
    -.-

my first thought was to extract it and see if I could a Track or Kart with Mario Kart DD.

it would be no problem to try with isos cause my Gamecube has a harddrive installed.

so if anyone has an idea than i could try it.

    €dit:
okay for running any triforce game with dolphin you need the triforce IPL.
i think finding the triforce IPL would be very very hard...

Since we're on the topic of Triforce and Dolphin, has anyone on the Dolphin team gotten F-ZeroAX to run fairly well? I know I know....GX runs fine. That's cool and all, but AX has multiplayer support via ethernet connection between several cabinets. If we could play AX in Dolphin online against each other, I would die and go to heaven.

Someone has dumped the triforce IPL, a link earlier in the thread is the guy's site, and the XOR encryption code is in the mame source code link I posted earlier.

The IPL is rather useless (as far as games are concerned), all it really does ultimately is to start the segaboot.gcm from the mediaboard, you should view it as nothing more than a bootloader. Besides, although I dumped mine, I believe there is a public dump of it around. You may however need the Type3 segaboot, which hasn't been dumped publicly (the 1.07 version from type 1 has been dumped and is available on the internet.) And I am not even sure about that. (besides, it'd require patching to run without a mediabord, pretty much any piece of triforce code does.)
