    ??? it's a T flip-flop, in this application it doesn't matter if reset polarity is high or low, all that matters is that at some point there's a low to high transition for it to toggle. Also if someone installed that mod how I suggested -- taking RESET from the CPU, it would ALWAYS be active-low since that doesn't change from 68K to 68K.

    I think the idea is that it offers a smoother, more controlled region switch - but I can agree it seems to be a lot of extra work for minor benefit.

    You are right of course and it is probably a better way of doing so, that was you only need the one 74 chip and a few soldered wires to make a multiregion switchless mod.

    Does it? I use the single chip 74 flip flip mod and it works all the time.
