    Anyone got Wide-Boy64 CGB and AGB firmware update file??

    Hi,

    I remember that back in the day firmware update for Wide-Boy CGB and/or AGB where available on the public ftp of intsys.co.jp. Anyone had the good idea to save them?

    I have some stuff listed ISPD and IS-SPC or something from the server. Do either of those ring a bell?

    No, it was clearly labeled for wideboy in a folder and has a .bin extension IIRC.

    yeah I have it, pm coming. They are .n64 files not .bins

    mine were just the GBC files 9/8/98 and 9/14/98 files. Anyone else have the AGB files?

    The way the wideboys are designed it only update the software that actualy run on the N64. I believe it's just for bug fix.

    But it can't update FPGA code since it's loaded from a small DIP-8 Xilinx PROM.

    I have a nib unit that has some floppies in with it, I will have to wait for it to show up as I am packing stuff to verify usability.

    yeah that would be awesome to see whats on the floppys, mind uploading them when you get it?

    sorry been busy moving.....these are correct files. but there should be more and we cant see what versions those you provided are unfortunately.

    where did you find this file? was it on the ftp before they took everything down?

    No, I've not seen the ftp.

    I have various N64 copier BIOS file, utils etc. I'll pm you the site, it contains various roms that it may not be allowed to post in the forums.

    I have two files "wideboy64.n64" with date stamps of 1998-09-08 03:22 (crc: 00004D1B) and "wideboy64.n64" 1998-09-13 23:14 (crc: 0000639F)
