Wiikey Fusion also works on Gamecube!

    [2011.03.04]

Emu_kidid, Ashen and Zenloc, together with the rest of the gc-forever.com community, has managed to get Wiikey Fusion to work with Gamecube!

They have made a nice YouTube video showing Wiikey Fusion in action on Gamecube. So after 6 years there is finally a successor to our legacy products Qoob Lite, Qoob Pro, and Xeno GC!

Now that is sweet. Don't give a damn in the least about making it portable (battery life, no bueno) but replacing optical drives would be fun.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

Amazing work. I'm surprised there aren't more comments, to be honest - an SD loader that works, how about that. £25 or so is too pricey for what it's worth to me, but it's cool that it's out there.

the disk drive will always been the week point in any console

if you cant get modchips to work by the soderless methed of attaching them to the ribbon cable between the disk drive and the mobo

then you can always attach a device directly to the leads of the lazer and have direct access that way

Superb discovery mate (though I'm not from the U.K, haha), and if this could be incorporated in a clean, tidy way and be able to have a solution that stores maybe more than a couple this would the ish, but even how it is now is awesome!

Any chance on making a tutorial?

this is an ide-exi adaptor. its not a fully dvd replacement like the wiikey or wode.
you cant play all titles with this IDE2EXI from HDD and you cant play them without disc in the drive.

with the wiikey hooked up on the drive interface you can do this
