Quite. The lack of decisive mod action on the inspuration case was a bit weird, it just seemed to fizzle out, I suspect largely because neither the seller nor buyer were particularly well-known.
On the matter of Casey/Japhei and his banning, I didn't see any just cause for his banning either. Yes there are stories "alleging" he has ripped people off, but those are just internet stories/rumors.
For years people accused Chris, myself, and NeoGeoFreak of similar stories with ZERO PROOF (some also mentioned our NGF corrected inserts or our NGF distributor sticker). There was so much hate directed towards us, that people started to believe the rumors, even though they were all false.
Casey may come off a bit harsh, but it's never been proven that he actually ripped someone off (it's all rumors). I've never had a problem or bad experience with the guy, but then again, I know how to make judgments and handle myself if things were to have escalated. In other words, Tampa isn't out of my reach if wrong doings needed to be corrected.
It's a good thing when members come together and give opinions and advice on whether another person may be involved in bad deals, but it should be done based on PROOF and not internet rumors. Flaming and attacking is not the way to go about it either. And speaking from experience, the personal attacks are childish and should never be allowed.

I think this thread came to an end and sincerely at first I thought it was boring and tedious but in the end I learned a lot of it!
first is that this community is not tainted yet with judging characters that try to impose their way of thinking and that the regulars are always open to hear and come to conclusions after they heard what there is to say!
second that there is good spirit on many individuals in the way that they tried to defend someone that at that moment seemed to be the under dog, that shows a higher level of mind!
third is that is not wise to try extremely hard to make your point! it annoys other people and makes you less credible, this goes for trying to appear as a good character or trying to make someone look bad, all this happened in this same tread! (this I admit is a crucial point I have to work on in other forums)
and last is that this is a good place I would like to be around more often! haves a lot of potential!
overall lesson learned for many but not all here is that like on everything in real life or web life is that you have take everything with a grain of salt, don't jump to conclusions and let everyone talk before making any judgement!
I guess by what happened on this thread everyone following it now have the facts and are able to make their judgement! I am glad I could be a part of it!
Japhei/Casey is a scammer and a thief. If he wasn't a thief, he wouldn't have had multiple accounts banned from each of multiple forums. That stuff doesn't just happen by accident. Good to see there's another "Casey Free" forum on the web.

I never knew Casey had a criminal record. Someone asked him about it and he opened up and said he was arrested for marijuana and for battery.
IF his arrests were only for smoking weed and getting into a few fights, then we shouldn't judge him so severely.
IF he was arrested for something more serious and/or convicted of a serious crime, then of course we should all be aware of his offenses and actions, and each person can decide for themselves if they want to associate or deal with him.

I don't read this thread much due to the amount of shit in it so I'm a bit late here but just to put people at ease, The Arcade God / Japhei / Casey and what ever other name he goes under was banned after checking hard facts. Not internet rumours, not some little kiddie bull shit stories, but hard proven facts.
Yeah, he didn't do anything wrong here because he never got the chance. No matter if you are as good as gold we don't want or need ANYONE with a record like his here. And yes, I agree there are a few others that shouldn't be here too but without solid proof the ban hammer can't come out to play.
As for the post count dropping all the time, well, that's Dion deleting many of his own posts.

Interesting post Yakumo, thanks for highlighting who made the post deletions as I'm sure I'm not the only one who assumed the pruning was done by either mods or admin. As you say, by mass deleting your own posts it does look suspiciously like you've something to cover or hide.
Maybe Dion has a valid reason for deleting in excess of a dozen posts, but when you consider the bulk of his posts do nothing but promote or glorify himself and his former business it does make you question his integrity even more.
That's only a very small amount of posts he's deleted himself. He's always posting then deleting stuff. If you don't want people to read something then it shouldn't be posted in the first place. If the post is deleted to save face or to hide some sort of conflicting story then you have to ask yourself "why should you believe anything written in the none deleted posts". that is just my opinion of course :nod:

I deleted many of the posts that were in that argument with Andre (Adol). I felt the entire situation and back and forth banter became too repetitive.
Sometimes I may post something and then repost it in a better way, then I go back and delete the original. I see no difference in making an edit or doing a repost and delete. I never thought it would matter.
But as I said, most of what was deleted was the arguing with Adol.
