    The Earthquake Check In thread

Well, that fucking sucked. I'm sitting here working with my bicycle helmet on. Bloomberg says 7.9 in Miyagi. My building is fucking still shaking. Thats gotta be like 2-3 after shocks.

That's the second large on in nearly as many days.

I hope everyone knows how to turn off their gas and has water put aside.

3rd, actually, if you consider the 6.X one "large". It was substantial. This one is way stronger. I got in the doorway and panicked a bit. Thing was, it was a creeper. Started off normal, and over the next minute it got stronger and stronger.

I've heard that the gas is cut off automatically, centrally. More people died in the ensuing fires of The Kantou Earthquake than the Earthquake itself.

Was just upgraded to an 8.8 earthquake.
Well, it's rather brutal here. Right now we are advising all our clients to put everything they've got into canned food and shotguns.

That'll be an interesting insurance claim.

"Umm, I have fire damage.... water damage... and my house isn't where it should be!"

    Holy shit!
Everyone's just partying out here in Tokyo. I didn't know about the TSunami. It's just a "warning" here.

Well, I didn't even know about the earthquake at all! Just got home from work, checked my Yahoo Auction and there's some info on the top of the page about it. Absolutely nothing happened down in Yamaguchi / Kita Kyushu.

EDIT - Wow, shit, that's a big one. Just been watching it on every TV station. Doesn't Tatsujin live in the Chiba area or was it Yokohama?

Sendai is ripped to shit. I am OK, glad everyone else is. Girlfriend is too. Had TV on my phone on. We were all evacuated.

Shipping boats on land, cars in the sea, crazy.

    Everyone ok?
