    Wanted: Funtech Super A'Can

Wanted: Funtech Super A'Can videogame system + ANY games.

The Super A'Can is Taiwan's first (1996) videogame console, similar to SNES & Jaguar. More information can be found on emugo's website:

Yup we know what it is - probably the rarest console ever. There are I think 3 people with them outside Taiwan? Certainly under 10 known of. Good luck!

By the way, if you post a wanted ad, change your profile so your location is displayed. It will assist in telling you how much postage is should someone have it.

And go to the off topic forum and post in the introduce yourself thread - follow the format everyone uses.

And finally - welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay here :smt023

They're not the rarest consoles by any means, just somewhat rare outside Taiwan. You can find them very easily for $50-75 on Yahoo TW, the problem is finding someone to buy them for you.

Does Yahoo TW use the same draconian system as Yahoo JP, i.e. paying to be a member and the majority of sellers hating foreigners?

You don't have to tell me that. I have been trying to get games for mine from Yahoo TW for a while :-(

Might have to ask you a favor when my cashflow gets started again, Richiro... :smt043

So what are the quality games of note for the Super A-Can, to go semi-OT? Which ones do you have, AW? Is there the possibility we could see a SAC game review site one day? ;-)

If he would actually pay up, Speddy_20/Crack_kills2005/King_unknown would want your friends to get him an "a can". :smt043

Yup we know what it is - probably the rarest console ever.
Didn't we cover this a year ago? There was a US dealer of surplus parts offloading A'Cans for $2 each. "Comes with a 68000 and Z80!" or something, was their sell-line. I know a guy who bought ten of them just to see what was inside.

    It's all about perspective. =)

I gave you a suggestion, something people like here, but you ignored it and continued posting in this forum.

So, here it is again, and I'll post it on all your threads until you do ;-) Sorry, but new users (and lurkers) coming in and requesting stuff straight away get to me when they don't do something that established members patiently ask. It is common courtesy to introduce yourself to a forum. To those who lurked - you may 'know' us now from reading our posts, but we don't know you.

TO NEW USERS (especially those wishing to sell or buy)

    1. update your profile so it says your location. This will greatly aid someone who wants to buy from / sell to you (e.g. better idea of postage costs / whether the item is PAL/NTSC)

    2. go to the "Off Topic" forum. Go to the "Sticky: Introduce Yourself !" thread. Introduce yourself in there (follow everyone else's lead regarding what to put).
