With an expensive uncommon adapter you can. If a PCE EverDrive could support Arcade Card emulation it would be worth it for TG16&CD and US Turbo DUO owners.

If you have a PC-Engine DUO I agree that it's not such a big deal to pickup the AC DUO card. But like The new Mega EverDrive supports the Sega CD Backup RAM cart function which similar to the arcade card, it would be handy if you could save significant money by having the device do both jobs. But again this speculates that the PCE ED even plans to use SDRAM and not Flash.

Too bad, I was hoping to see this card at the beginning of year. Oh well, I'll wait.

That's good news. The summer of 2012 will be great!

Whenever it comes out, I hope to be there to snag one. I do tend to balk at over $120 though, so don't get too feature happy please. ;)

The more features, the better.

It's completely useless to give a price level, just let Krikzz do his magic, and then decide to step in, or not.

    Or were you not serious?

As long as it plays a decent percentage of PCE/TG16 games, I'm all in.

On a related note to the HuED, or whatever he's calling it:
    ...console emulation has no soul...

Oh I was serious. When these things go over $150 I start adding up the cost to buy the rest of the games I want to see on my shelf while sighing and occasionally going "pfft". ;)

I'm assuming that the PCE/TG-16 Everdrive will work on both systems without an adapter -- right? Will the card autodetect which system it's running on, or is there a physical switch?

Sorry for the naivete of the question -- I'm fairly clueless about TG-16. My impression (based on a few unexpectedly low-yield Google searches) is that other PCE flashcards do swap the necessary address lines, but I wasn't sure if that was happening automatically or if a switch was required.

Since Tototek works on USA and JAP without any trick besides byte swapping I assume that Krikzz cart will be also working on both versions.

I never had any doubt, thanks KRIKzz!

Definitely can't wait for Turbo/PCE Everdrive.

I haven't read this entire thread, but will it be compatible with the PCE or Turbo hardware? I ask because the pins on the cart are different.

So will this be able to mimic the Arcade Card 3.0 functionality or no? The last few posts have me a bit confused...

Judging by KRIKzz saying it will cost about the same as the EverDrive MD, I'd say no it won't. It sounds like it will be Flash based. It would have to be SRAM/DRAM based to be able to emulate the Arcade Card and would probably cost more.
