    Extremely useful Calpis .. unless your looking for info such as ..

    - Does anyone have a pin-out for the HuC6260, HuC6270, or HuC6280?
    - Does anyone know the part numbers of any of the custom components in the original CD-ROM unit? (not the Duo or other models)
    - Does anyone know what subroutines or bugs were fixed and added between the different revisions of the System Cards?

    etc,etc

    There is never really a fully comprehensive collection of information. Thats why input from all the different users on here in a dedicated sub forum would still be useful.

    GameSX has reverse engineered pinouts, they're probably the only ones online ATM:

    PCE section would be cool. I'm not going to touch the machine when it comes to software (that damn 6502 :P) but I have messed with its hardware side :)

    TBH, none of the Game Development forums been solely about devving for the system they encompass. My leaning was towards hardware too :)

    I just got a Super GrafX, and have a flash cart coming. I'm very interested in PCE programming, so I've been gathering info on it. This is a good site:

    http://archaicpixels.com/index.php/Main_Page

    It has pin outs for the CPU and VDC, but not the VCE.

    There seems to be quite a bit of interest in a PC Engine forum from various members. So can we get this sorted please?

    I second Chilly Willy's recommendation of the archaic pixels wiki, has been a really useful resource in my experimenting.

    Cheers to Calpis, too; seems I missed pcetech.txt before. thanks for the link, looks like a great document!

    I'm surprised to see this much interest in PCE development.. have yet to discover an active homebrew scene, just some (rather nice) projects scattered around the net.

    Here's a very complete resource for PCE/TG16 stuff;

    I'd ask that the thread be closed, but it acts as an idiot detector now. ;) :D
