    Much call for a PC Engine/ TG16 Section ?

Im just wondering there has ever been much call for a seperate PC Engine / TG16 section ?

Ive seen some stunning PCE collections and hardware displayed in other sections so im sure once a few people get stung by the Hudson bee as far as coding or devving goes it would take off.

Considering there's individual development sections for most other consoles and manufacturers, I think it's only fitting that there should be an NEC/Hudson Soft section for all their hardware.

If someone is willing to moderate it, I can't see any harm in it being there.

I was contemplating purchasing a TG16 today but beyond Bonk I really have no idea what games are good or even something I'd want to play.

I know my original post seems to lean towards devving for it but the PCE scene has such a wealth of information to it, it would just be nice to have a section to share anything PCE related in.

There are some stunningly good games that most of us in the western world haven't experienced or have seen the poorer Sega or Nintendo conversions of. A lot have absolutely stunning cd audio to go along with them.

I just obtained a core grafx/cdrom2 setup so i could look more into the hardware/electronics part of it but the pce has loads to offer wether your a gamer/programmer/hardware hacker or just love that particular gaming generation.

PC-Engine is too large a console family to ignore. We need a subforum for it!

Might as well since there's already Nintendo, Sega, SNK, Sony, Microsoft. NEC is the last major player missing. It will probably contain significantly more posts about troubleshooting consoles than actual development but that's all of the development forums right now. PCE has pretty nice hardware, but a lot of people pick homebrew platforms based on childhood nostalgia and console availability so I can't imagine it getting close to the attention of the already anemic homebrew scenes for consoles more popular worldwide.

I've always wanted to get into PCE homebrew, was thinking this would be the year I finally got around to it. If there's a PCEdev board (or any other PCE love on this forum hehe), I'll be there.
