I remember way back when that Jambo Safari and Brave Firefighters were being mooted for a home release on the DC, did you hear anything or see anything of these titles?

    DonnyK already answered that question:

Speaking of short games, I personally was a big motivator in getting Jambo Safari brought over to the Dreamcast. They told me it was because the game was too short and no money for more dev along with the team moving on to other things. I then brought the proposal since I was a huge Sega Arcade fan for the company to put Emergency Call Ambulance, Brave Firefighters, and Jambo all on one disc and call it the Real Life Arcade collection or something like that. My idea went all the way to SOJ but was turned down as the games were on different arcade hardware and couldn't be ported to one disc. My sad face was sad :(

Wow, are you guys out of the loop! Just kidding, but yeah, work is being done to get ANY PC HL MOD playable on a DC with the SDK, provided the mods are within the DC's capabilities.

Anyway, we posted the 2 newest mods at Moddb.com that are great single player games with full on profesional voice acting and all new weapons, maps and characters and storylines.

I have a ton of friends still in the gaming industry the people I knew... some are still @ Sega others are at Konami, Microsoft, Ubisoft, Sony, etc.. I will share the site with them - as serious gamers (like me) I think they would be as excited as I am to read the stuff that all of you know (it is pretty staggering, seriously).
Any chance to get resident evil 1.5? :D because you said you have sony friends and maybe they could get that game... :)

It did not have online mode.

Alien front arcade had a very small and increadably dedicated/sharp staff working on it. Loved the arcade version, the DC version not so much.

I also have a Rez DC version. Did someone want pics or something?

I played about 20 minutes of the DC version, way more of the the Xbox version. I hated it. Honestly I only remember an outside level, it was almost unplayable at that stage though. Enemy AI was totally jacked from what I recall.

Thx for the info, its very appreciated =)(big gunvalkyrie lover).Never would of thought that they got as far as making an outside level for the d.c. version, considering they only showed some indoor stage via screenshots and video before the game completely fell off the radar.Sad it wasnt in a playable state. It seemed to look nice for a windows ce game.

Edit:btw how long ago was this?(if your dont mind me asking.)

Yeah, sorry my memory is so fuzzy, was a long time ago and I really wasn't into the game enough to even care.

I am with accel99 on this one and very jealous of you having played the game at all!

Can I ask where you played the game originally? don't have to give any info that may compromise you but if you could tell if it was USA, JAPAN or EU even that would be nice info.

Like accel99 said its interesting you playing an exterior location as that might suggest that it may have been a later build than the versions the videos online etc have taken footage from

Its a shame you didn't like it but I guess the xbox game was a love it or hate it affair too.
