Do you remember my problem with King Colossus not keeping the saves (OSv29; rev2.4) (but also tested with OSv23, OSv22...)?
It was also occurring with Soleil (Crusader of Centy) and Barver Battle Saga... So I went nuts about that...

I think I found some sort of solution... Using OSv17 the problem initially occurred too... But then I entered in the options menu and there was an option called "SRAM bank". It was set to 0. I changed it to 1 and all saves are working now! I tested with banks 2 and 3 and they are working also. But the bank 0 behaves exactly like the OSv29 trying to save and do not work...
The sad part is that OSv17 lacks lots of features and fixes that you implemented later.
Please, is there any chance to implement the SRAM bank option or some kind of fix/change that would make the OSv29 behaves like using bank 1 or 2 or 3?

I know that you are very busy with Mega Everdrive but I'm begging for your help. I can send you money using paypal if you want.

I tested it a bit more now... The same "SRAM bank" option is available until OSv20 and it also worked with banks 1,2 or 3. Bank 0 not working too.
Since OSv22 the saves stopped working in my Everdrive MD for those games.

may be something wrong with your cart. i can check if you will send to me, but i will not make changes in OS for single cart

KRIKzz, I live in Brazil. Send a package to Ukraine from here would be expensive and probably unsafe. That's why I was looking for a software solution.
It will be a better idea to save money and buy a Mega Everdrive.

Anybody tried to boot re-translated version of Beyond Oasis? Red screen through the system, plays ok through emulator. Region patch disabled.

Which OS version are you using?

Usually, when you get a red screen you should: fix the checksum of the rom (probably fucked up by the patch you have applied) or apply a master code to remove checkings (I prefer this way since it usually makes the game boot a bit faster).

Master code for Beyond Oasis (game genie required):
AABT-AA7R

You can also permanently change your rom using the above code converted to hexadecimal and a hex editor like HexWorkshop.

Apologies for the lack of updating in this thread. I have been incredibly busy with work, and today I decided to revisit the forum to correct this.

The thread has been updated with everyones reported problems. Note: I have not included many translation patch games, these are outside of the scope of the ED.

Also, I don't think region errors/problems are substantial problems for this list. You really should use a modded console. Unless there are any objections, I will omit any problems regarding region errors.

In the interests of all fans of the ED, can I suggest to the mods - if this thread is to be taken seriously, please sticky this thread. I will assure you if this thread is sticky, people will notice it more and you will get less posts in the forum about non-working games. It will also make it easier for me to update this regularly.

I agree. A lot of people don't realize their method to play imports does not change the console's internal region.
This situation is no different from things like Saturn Action Replay.

top gear 2 on Mega Everdrive doesn't work, just appears a red screen...

I'm having a problem with Air Buster/Aero Blasters. It always freezes on the fourth level. It doesn't freeze at any particular spot on the fourth level, just at some random point on level 4 it always freezes.

I was playing Top Gear 2 the other night, so I know it works. It might be one of those you have to make sure your region is set right and Mega Key is off.
