Genesis model 2 reset is broken

I opened it up and noticed the actual shaft that goes down into the board that presses the connection is broken off.
Anyone have any good ideas on how to fix this?

Yep that's what I thought. I'll figure out what to use for the shaft.

or you could do it the fun way get a dremel and cut off the head and point of
a long thin nail drill a hole in the button or end that remains and glue it into the hole

no more chance of it snapping agian

alls i know is my genesis's rest has been stiff for more then 4 hours time to seek help :-0
