Lots of junk, not much space

Just a few pics of my collection. No dev stuff and nowhere near the size of a lot of collections, but that's because I wander the countryside trying to find stuff in markets and secondhand stores rather than paying through the nose on ebay.

    - My entertainment unit, with current gen games and DVDs in the rack on the left. Then my Logitech Z680 surround setup. At the top I've got the Virtual Boy, Famicom and Famicom Disk System, Neo Geo CD and Vectrex. Bottom row (all hooked up) are the Gamecube, PS2, XBox and Dreamcast and Toploader NES. Also got the stepdown convertor there for all my non-240v needs. Right hand shelves hold a PC Engine DUO, Goldstar 3DO (with 240v cord) and a SNES 2 and PAL SNES.

    - Boxes on the top, with the Jaguar, Nomad, Lynx, NGPC, Wonderswan and Gameboy variants still sitting in there. Next shelf down is NES, PAL SNES, US SNES, Famicom Disk System, Gameboy and GBA. Second one down is boxed variants of the above, with Virtual Boy, Neo Geo CD, Game.Com and other handheld games. Third shelf is boxed 3DO, Boxed Vectrex, DC (PAL and JP), PSX, JP Saturn, PC Engine, Turbografx, Jaguar and CD32 games. Fourth is boxed Megadrive and Master System, with a few loose carts and my buggered Lynx 1. Bottom shelf is a stack of 2600, some boxed Colecovision and Videopac, my two Game.coms and other misc stuff.

    - Top shelf is empty boxes, with a boxed Sanyo TRY 3DO, boxed Colecovision driving controller and NES athletics mat. Second row is various Megadrives and Master Systems, including a silver MD1 which I painted myself. Second shelf has a Amiga CD32, Super Famicom, Panasonic 3DO, Gamegear and Turbografx. Third shelf has two Colecovisions, NES, N64, Gameboy and Intellivison. Fourth shelf has PAL and JP Saturns, PC Engine and PC Engine GT. Fifth shelf is two versions of the Atari 2600 plus a pong console variant. Bottom shelf holds the Philips Videopac, Emerson Arcadia and a cart pong.

The plastic bins to the right hold all my peripherals, and the picture on the wall is a stencilled spraypainted version of my avatar.. :)

Most the rest of the boxes are stored elsewhere. All my SNES and N64 games are boxed in perfect condition, but the boxes never got moved with them when I shifted to Melb. I'd like to bring them back down but I'm out of space.

Your organization is worth as much praise as a dozen dev units ;)

How do people manage to keep there stuff so tidy.

I could never keep my stuff so tidy as I would need a
    separate house :smt043

    ....Full on Mario collector....

The solution to keeping stuff neat is to have no space in the house to spread stuff. Besides, what's the point in having a nice collection unless you want to display it nicely? :)

I envy you CraigJ being able to have all of your stuff on display like that.
