    Buy it. Report it as counterfeit because it's listed as official when it's not, maybe you won't have to ship it back for refund.

    It says officially licensed, which I would imagine it was. Not an official SEGA brand. Licensed products were still a thing back then.

    Looks like one of the Mad Catz pads - which were absolute crap, but were also official licensed products. They also made a licensed light gun - which was the only one you could use on the US light gun games, since the Sega lightgun was disabled.

    Thats a common trick to avoid relisting fees when you are out of stock. Rather than end it, jack the price up, then low it when you have restocked.

    Totally makes sense. The real Neo Geo collector does not buy anything below $10,000 because that's for poor losers. The buyer will probably tip him $2000 to get beyond 10k.
