I understand it's a "First Print" and it's in pristine condition, that's great and all.

BUT $50,000?! It's not even the Gamecube version :c

My real name is Kogey but apparently that username doesn't meet the administrator's standards.
There should be some sort of organisation that goes into peoples homes and takes poorly treated Dreamcasts from their owners! (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Dreamcasts)

Maybe our forums should do valuations too - but with the caveat that it has the current valuation printed on the labelling (to stop this ludicrous pricing). If they want it revalued, they can get it done at a reduced secondary fee.
I'm sure we have more qualified people here than VGA, and we could all do with the money.

I've had Rapid Reload for PS1 in my ebay auto search for ages, all described as rare or very rare, all end up going for stupid prices, I see about 1-3 copies turning up almost weekly how rare can it be!
This VGA trend will end soon enough, no one in their right mind would pay these kinds of prices, eventually sellers will realise the errors of their ways. The only people who would are hardcore collectors and they usually know what is and what isn't a good deal, so we shouldn't be too concerned about it. People who are abusing VGA for sales boosts have no idea what grading services are actually about, people just need to take one look at the coin market to realise they're making a fool of them selves. One of a kind two hundred year old GOLD coins sell in the five or six figure region, mass produced video games made out of cardboard and plastic have no place at these sorts of prices unless they're something truely, truely special and even then the protective case or grade they're given has absolutely NOTHING to do with their value. These sellers are two hundred years too early, enjoy the laugh while it lasts.
In sarcastic Voice (Ultra rare atari 2600 casino game, you can only find it anywhere there is a pile of crappy atari games)

I've heard of this selling life thing. Basically a person sells their whole life for a price. This includes all possessions, friends, identity, and rights. Ian Usher was the first: http://abhisays.com/humor/how-to-sel...e-on-ebay.html Looks like it is starting to become a trend.

just to get your item(s) to be graded to VGA, you need to send them by mail to their post office until they evaluate it but I would simply fear that the item(s) get damaged with the shipping and handling and such !
but maybe there's excentric millionnaires that would pay these exagerated price just to own the game of their dream !
