X-Tender (29 wire) schematics for >1.0 XBox?

I've got a 1.3 XBox whose original HDD has been lost and I can't find a lockable HDD for the life of me. I want to flash the TSOP and acquired a X-Tender modchip but can't find schematics for installation above a 1.0 (and what I suspect is for a 1.1 but can't confirm). Anyone have any ideas? Perhaps a pinout for the X-Tender chip itself?

Yes it was but that isn't the point. The point is that this will let me flash the TSOP which I can't do as none of the later chips can allow TSOP access and I can't just boot a flasher through a software exploit because I don't have a lockable HDD for that to work!

So I just want schematics if anyone knows of any.

Although new chips won't write to the onboard TSOP, they do supply their own where your custom bios would go. Most chips also have a way to program them without needing to run anything on your xbox.

Yes, most do. However I need the ability to write to the TSOP and 29 wire chips can be booted using whatever BIOS you want, modify the wiring a bit and you can then use a flashing app to write to the TSOP, which is what I'm aiming to do.

Looks interesting from what google can turn up and I know it is possible to wire an EPROM in as a replacement for the TSOP but the guy who wrote up the information did it for a 1.2 IIRC which isn't 100% compatible with the 1.3. Might be able to figure it out given time.

When I want to flash a XBOX tsop, I extract the I2C eeprom and dump the HDD key (or I lock it on a similar XBOX with a known key and move the EEPROM to the target board).

The HDD will be pre-loaded with the linux audio exploit for dashboard 4920 and the said dashboard... :thumbsup:

Exploit it (launches xecuter PBL bios and EVOX dash) then flash with EVOX (for older flash) or with Raincoat (for newer Winbond flash mobos).

Edit: Oh and you can also use any LPC modchip for the locking purpose instead of moving eeproms around.

EVOX dash has a HDD locking feature.

I've considered doing just that but I've been debating if there was an easier method than trying to dig up an original XBox hdd and changing its key.
