apparently it was nothing to do with the value but due to the fact that Nintendo asked(?) Custom to check any inbound Nintendo product via private import and we have to sign the form whcih saying that it is private import and not for resale... :-( never had such crap with any other companies even SONY but only for Nintendo???

I asked if it was possible to send in several pictures due to the size of the collection and the weather not being that good to put it in the garden.

This is the reply I got from the Company dealing with the competiton (Codestorm)

I am sorry but the terms and conditions state that ‘A’ picture should be emailed as the entry together with the 30 word explanation. Exceptions at this stage can not be made to the format of the competition.

To be fair, some of the pictures we have had in so far do use the advantage of wide angle lenses to the full, but at the expenses of detail. However the overall impression of the number of items is there.

It needs to be emailed into the address on the web site for the judging to take place and to make comparisons with the other entries that have arrived.

    B@@@@RDS!

So it will be a question of moving furniture around....sofa`s...dining tables.....big f@@@ing television

    c'mon, do it!

it's not like if you don't have a chance to win, not at all! :-)

the majority of people who will try to participate will be kids with their small collection of game cube and maybe of 64, you know?

just hide every dev equipement and DSs around. :-D

Beleive me this is probably only over half.........possibly two thirds of the Nintendo stuff!

I have got about another 6 large boxes full of stuff and as for MARIO items
    .........well........SH@T loads more

This lot took me four hours to retreive from the loft and then put back.
    I am completely B@LL@@@@@D :drinkers:

I really couldn`t be bothered to put any more out as you can`t see half of the stuff anyway........trying to show a collection in one picture is pointless unless you lay it all out flat....but then where the hell can you find a place big enougn and a ladder tall enough to take a picture :smt009

I left the DS out :smt043 .......and the NR-Readers in but what the hell..can`t really see them.

This picture is on image shack so if you click/copy and paste the properties link you can get to see it in a bit more detail....mind you this isn`t to bad but you can`tsee whats on the floor/tables :smt022

But hand on heart....there is a LOAD more stuff that didn`t get shown here.

I really will have to get it all organised and photographed for posterity!!

Well I have spoken to Codestorm and they confirmed they have
my picture along with the others.

I have asked when the result will be made and if the winner`s picture will be posted.

    Will keep you all updated.

I hope they have just loads of kids with 1 cube and 3 games.

But somehow I envisage some bigger collections than that.

Also will they be picky as I am not in the picture. But I advise there wasn`t the room!

Yeah nice Nintendo 3DO there... not!!

What is that thing poking out of his GBA? Looks like a handle attachment to turn it into something to club people with!!

I still say we should enter a pic of a large famiclone collection ;-)

That thing sticking out of the GBA looks like an E-Reader...

Haha, you destroy the puny Pokemon kid, Alan, you're a shoe in.

check this out, he have a boxed super mario bros fo nes!
the best in is collection isn't from ninty, and i don't think he knew that because it's right the middle of the pic!

he could have at least removed the price on is used pokemon stadium cart and the ''FREE!'' sticker on is nes. :smt043

anyway, i feel kinda sad for the poké kid, you know you're destroying the hope of tons of children? bad, dad V-alan, shame on you !

    ;-)

i think the famiclones pictures would have been cool too. :-D

edit: i just checked your pciture again to decide with one between you and the poké-kid would win (mmm....) and noticed something strange in the rear: am i the only one to see a Blue-ish, Green-ish Test game cube? :smt030
