Bingo. The way it works is different from that mess, the program in RAM keeps running. I did it once, but my N64 connector is hacked up and I blew a test n64 while doing this. If I can get it working reliably I'll add it to the menu.

If you can't get that working reliably, would it be possible to read the save data onto your device from a cart using one of these:

I would be interested in one too, I'm from Spain and I would like to ask Marshallh if I could share this information in a spanish forum of active scene in many consoles (Elotrolado). I'm pretty sure many people there would be interested in buying one and also in knowing the existence of this device.

I just want to thank you all the effort you're putting on this and if we can help you in some way, you just have to say it!

I would be in on the first run for a group buy.

    Marshall,
Very impressive work. I was just about to pick up a Doctor V64 but I'd MUCH rather get one of these. How long do you think until the first run? Oh, and btw: THANKS, so much. You are awesome for doing this.

    Regards,

    npt

I ordered some PCBs today of the next revision. Lead time is a while so there won't be much news again for some time.

marshallh, are you planning to do some more research or these PCBs are already for final production?

Wow this is amazing news. NeoFlash's cart only holds 1 or 2 games ( I think). And you have a 2GB CF card in yours. I can't wait for this to be finished. Can you give me a base price?

Out of curiosity, how will the cart firmware work? Will it run on 2 separate files (OS and firmware) like the EverDrives? And how do you update it?

The base price is mentioned somewhere I thing it's like 170 USD or something. Not sure what are included for 170 USD or if any other options will be available thought...

  17. #157
    $170 is a decent price
As long as quality is there i wouldn't have a problem paying that
