    For those who knew Nintendomad/mofoman

Don't know where to start really, just got home this evening. Was greeted with a terrible bit of news. His mum has been trying to get hold of me for a while to pass the news on that he has died but she only just found my number.

Not sure who knows him but Richard who went by the name of Nintendomad/Mofoman on here & a few other forums. I knew him pretty well & im devastated, i wondered why he hadn't been online in ages & now i know why.

Just thought i'd let you all know :(

Truly sad news. I knew Richard back in the days he went under the name of Nintendomad. He was one of the early members of ASSEMblergames too, back on the old ezBoard forum.

I didn't know him on a personal level but do remember him from his posts regarding N64/64DD around here. The last thing I remember is him wanting to buy a 64DD devkit.

    May he rest in peace.

When the doctor asked me, if I heard voices in my head, the voices said "tell him no!"

    Hope he finds peace.
Well, it's rather brutal here. Right now we are advising all our clients to put everything they've got into canned food and shotguns.

I recall interacting with him very briefly in a thread or two, but didnt' really know him. Still, it's always really sad to see the loss of a fellow gamer and collector.

    May he rest in peace.

My sincere condolences, this is terrible news. I did not know him either. But a death is something that always makes you think twice about things. Rest In Peace.

That is too bad. Like everyone else I didn't know him personally, only from the boards.

:-( Along with Yakumo I remember him from back in 02/03 on the ezboard forums at the very start of assemblers community, along with myself, techfury90 and antipasta to name a few regulars. He was a big big nintendo guy and would put up huge debates on nintendo's past present and future and whilst never meeting him, it felt like (at the time) that it was the start of many heathy banters to come. Unfortunately he posted less frequently (as do I) and a lot of the regulars faded away too :-( with Yakumo being an exception :-) it's quite sad to know that a once very active (in the online world) person can gradually fade away but leave's many memories and now sadness in his passing :-(

May I wish his family all the best, and raise a glass to a great contributor to assemblers past :-)

Sadly many of the very passionate people's lives sort of went poorly.
