    OT-New Home Movie

Last week the wife and I went to see the Sakura trees. While there she had this crazy idea of having her dog do some sort of guide for all of the guys here at ASSEMbler. So what we have is a video of the Sakura trees with the dog giving a commentary Well, it's really my wife but anyway, may be worth a download. I know that Importaku has seen the MPEG 2 version that I made. Yet to find out what he thought of it though. The Divx versions can be downloaded from my FTP and found in the 04 -= Videos in Japan =- folder. The files are called Ryu the dog's guide to Sakura part1(DiVX-MPEG4).avi and Ryu the dog's guide to Sakura part2(DiVX-MPEG4).avi

PS: If you don't know the ASSEMbler login then head on over to my site and use the Segagaga Domain login. You can find the details in the movies section.

Well I managed to watch the 1st one and i thought it was pretty good. I didn't realise that you had parks around where you live.

I liked it, More please :smt023

We have a few cherry blossom trees around where we live but not as many as that.

Thanks for the offer Evangelion-01 but if you let me know what type of encoding you use then I could do it myself :)

You could use ogm but you don't need to pay for traffic so no need to compress it even more, but ogm could resize it better if you have the time.

Aborted the download cause that one was nothing for me,better make some gaming vids or secret filming in game stores :smt023

You could have made it better with dubbing, without dubbing it's just strange ;-)

    um

ogm has notting to do with compression... ogm is just a containner, has notting to with size, and yakumo the thing is that encoding is not something you just do it the first time and make it look right... you gotta train alot and see how the shit works and stuff... so i could tell you, but it would take alot of time... so... wanna chat someday about it or what? :Hangman:

ogm has something to do with compression, because you use ogg audio.

    All you need to know...

Otherwise encoded as MVCD but I think there aren't many guides in english for that.

Another cool video from YakumoTV.....fascinating stuff seeing Japan in any form....thanks!

I'm impressed how Ryu the Dog knows more Japanese than me.....(makes me feel dumb.... :smt022 )

On a related note Clive James was on Satellite TV with a program about Japan last night - the capsule hotels were shown....Japan is just sooooo different......

Very entertaining video... kinda cool to see the flip world of things and such... hopefully you'll get a chance to take some footage in the downtown area highlighting some of the cooler places you may frequent.

Video is such a powerful thing :)

(and I've always wondered what Japanese clouds looked like, nice one ;) hehe :smt043

Please inform of any new films!

That could be me :smt033 I once drove up there in my wife's father's car when it was raining just so I could do an Initial D style turn. Pretty scarry really. The wife wasn't too happy though since she was in the car :smt027

Evangelion-01, the only game my wife likes is Puyo Puyo. She always kicks my arse on it. How, she does that though is a mystery since she can't make any decent combos :smt017 As far as anime goes she doesn't like anything from modern times. She like stuff from about 15 years ago. Saying that though, she never watches anything. By the way, yes she loves Disney's Whinney The Pooh or Pooh-san as he's called over here.
