According to Wikipedia (which is somewhat unreliable in verification), Tom Zito has the prototype locked up somewhere in Rhode Island.

Someone with connections should ask Tom Zito about the possibility of ever seeing the thing.

I remember the action gamemaster from a magazine, must have been something around -96. According to the article, the company was located in Bahamas and the casing was supposed to be made of wood (!).

This is a PC stearing wheel that grew out of the Konix system - rare itself, sold out unfortunately.

Cool thread on the subject, most of the pictures have been seen before:

I've always been curious about the Taito WOWOW:

These are the only 2 pictures that I've ever seen.

Consoles being made out of wood wouldnt be weird. Multiple people have made pc cases out of wood. It is much better for cooling I believe.

Yes, but I think the Apple I was sold as a board-only kit for $666
It was up to the buyer to build his/her own casing for the computer and keyboard

Yeah, I know, I was just pointing out that most have wooden cases. Price is the funniest part about that thing. I think he did it to see what people would think.

Anyway, I think the funny thing about that console was it origin (IF it was true that is!). Bahamas. Commodore had their last hq there before the got bankrupted.

    VCR Tapes + Coleco ADAM...

It's like the worst mix imaginable. Wouldn't those tapes get wiped clean whenever the console/computer was switched on?

I wouldn't think it'd be a great choice for cooling, since wood is more of an insulator? You want to get heat outside whether it be from exiting air or radiation from metal.
But since we're talking old computer products, it never was an issue.
