Oh well there are assholes every where, there was a university professor the other day (last week or the week before) on Danish news, that said people from the middle east had lower IQ than people, and if immigrants from that area went to Denmark, then Denmarks national/international IQ would drop. Well, that's nothing to be surprised about after all the publicity he got because of the controverse discussion that was going on before the official release.
Letting that apart, I'd still not call the situation of gays in the United States anywhere near to progressive. And it's definitely more fucked up than our people's attitudes towards muslims, so please spare your wrong comparisons. For instance, the US has people who found their business on the assumption that homosexuality is a sickness that needs to be cured, consider that. I've never seen such a thing in Europe.
But maybe BBT. Although there's not much to go back on since it's obviously a fake. ^^

ave: long ago (1920´s++) they tried to "cure" homosexuals by castrating them here in Denmark, a lot of the LGBT people committed suicide after their "treatment" and until 1980 in Danish doctors journals it was looked upon as a mental disorder. And yes I would say it is fucked up what has happened over the last century. in pursuit of a "cure".

Homosexual relationsships weren't even legal until the 1970's in many Western countries and it was a hard way for the gays to get as much acceptance as they have now, but we're talking about the present. The 20th century was totally fucked up anyways -__-

I see you haven't actually read it. He's mostly extrapolating from statistics (and me being not one to just blindly accept everything: the ones I took the time to double-check looked correct to me), has properly marked the sections where he's going with one of the extremes for the sake of making a point, etc... The "Jew gene" stuff has been vastly blown out of proportion, too (and even been misunderstood: He arguments that jews are especially smart due to being forced into jobs that cultivate intelligence). The thing that surprised me the most was that it's the muslims that are getting their panties all in a bunch right now, when africans actually came off much worse.
But speaking of recent history: They're rebuilding The Wall (in Stuttgart, for a change).
