    The Japanese clothing company UniQlo are doing 25th aniversary Metal Gear T-Shirts right now. I pcked myself up this beauty.

    And I am soooooo happy to have found this, an original Yamaha DX7. Anyone in their mid 30's and who was in to electronic / synth pop music of the 80's will know this keyboard. I've been after a mint one of these original models for years and here's it is complete with two voice cartridges as well!! Now all I need to do is learn how to play again. I haven't played a keyboard in over 10 years.

    Yakumo, nice pickup! :)

    Today was a day for rarity: I ordered MetalStorm for the NES, Rock N' Roll Racing (best RC Pro AM clone ever), & Run Sabre (decent Strider clone) for the SNES.

    ...plus... another copy of Ninja Gaiden III for the NES. I can't STOP!

    Thanks. By the way, I used to love Run Saber. Even though it seemed like a weak Strider it still had it's appeal. I though some of the BGM tracks were good as well.

    Mike Maties videos are always full of errors. In his last video half of the SNES games were not rare or obscure at all. Also in his transformers video he was meant to cover generation 1 but he included loads from the movie. They can't be generation 1 can they.

    Yeah. Maybe the SNES games weren't rare but they definitely weren't too popular where I was as a kid.

    Pretty popular for me and I lived in the UK at the time. Saying that I was well in to gaming back then. I knew pretty much ever SFC/SNES game and Mega Drive game.

    Mikes videos are a good pass time and I do watch them but I'm really waiting for the AVGN to come back. At the moment James is doing the "Know what's BullShit?" videos but he seems to be clutching at straws by picking pointless crap for them. I mean, wire hangers? I have loads and none have the floppy issues his had. Microwave beeps? I find that useful. It means I don't have to stand in front of the microwave waiting.

    I thought the same too, the wire hangers were not so bad but the beeps were weird. However the iTunes one was pretty well done, I liked his old "You know what's bullshit" style.
    Mike posted on Facebook AVGN is coming back soon but how soon? Oo

    Picked up a new handbag online, has a wider strap so it won't fall off my shoulders (barely any shoulders to be honest) and I just have to say - I'm really quite amused as I also finally got a complete in box copy of the original Clock Tower for Windows 95 PC release and the size of the box is nearly the same size as the bloody bag!

    But overall, really happy I FINALLY got a decent CT PC copy (I already had the MediaKite re-release and I had a jewel-case only copy of the original release) and in contrast to both of those copies - barely paid anything for this copy and the box is nearly perfect, only one little dog ear on the flap at the top of the box and it has all of the little feedback postcards and stuff in it too!

    I knew the box was a bit big, but I wasn't expecting it to be this size. >_<;

    So, I'm quite stoked for finding stuff (bunch of Famitsu issues I forgot I had ended up having Bio/RE 1.5 articles and Clock Tower stuff, that E3 CT3 t-shirt) this week!

    i was over in billings last weekend and took a tour of the shops there, and picked up a really nice black gameboy micro in a pawn shop for $30. that really capped off my day until i wandered into the local used game store and lo and behold what was staring back at me from the display case in the back?
    an unboxed mother 3 gameboy micro for $60.... what's the odds of that? it did come with the game and was in excellent shape. so i asked the clerk working that day about it ( who by the way reminded me of napoleon dynamite) and said some kid bought it yesterday and returned it because it couldn't read japanese.

    Yeah, the old ones look nicer to me.

    Though considering the size of it, I thought it may have had a longbox for the actual game inside but it's just a plain/clear jewel case with a large size manual which is a slight pity (but on the plus side, means there's a little bit less for me to scan in and document).
