Not the greatest pickups in terms of gaming but i got a wii fit board +wii fit plus, wheelman and legends of wrestlemania on the 360 along with some hidden object adventure game for PC called Haunted Halls: Green Hills Sanitarium.

Did also pick up an i5-760 CPU, P55-USB3 motherboard for £107 and a 4GB kit of 1600MHz memory for about £20-25 as i needed a slighter faster system but couldn't afford to get something a 2500k or other sandybridge CPU then a compatible board and RAM. Overclocked the CPU to 4.0GHz and now i can game quite nicely on my PC since i only run a 20" monitor with a max res of 1600x900 with a GTX460 1GB.

    MD Super32X01

Sega 32x development unit with development board and ISA breakout card, printed copy of Sega 32x Hardware Manual, SNASM2 68000 ISA card, SNASM68K assembler (boxed) with disks and manuals:

    IMG_20120318_211819.jpg

The development board is missing its black shell (it was similar to the CartDev boxes for Saturn) and power supply. I'll need to figure out the voltages and have something custom made up, I think.

It won't sit on a shelf collecting dust, I intend to use it for development as part of my personal games development challenge - I'll be creating a game for every console I own, using the original dev hardware, as a way to better myself as a programmer and make my portfolio more attractive to future employers.

    Wow, great find!

Do you have any Mega CD dev equipment laying around as well? I think it would be awesome to see neo-CD-32X development.

Afraid not, that's what I was actually looking to buy but this 32x kit came along and I'd have been a fool to miss the opportunity. I still have one potential seller in the pipeline though, so you may see a full Megadrive kit with all the sexy attachments!

I'm gonna need a lot of power adapters...

I purchased quite a lot recently but been too busy, distracted or otherwise neglected to post.

Recent purchases include: All Zombies Must Die!, Burnout Paradise The Ultimate Box, Cilization 5 DLC (all of it, for me and my bro), Dead Nation (This game sucks so bad I love it) Majesty 2 Collection, Orcs Must Die, Payday The Heist (gift) and Space Pirates and Zombies all on Steam Sales. I was tempted by Bulletstorm in the Origin sale, but by the time I figured OK lets buy it, the sale had ended lol.

Just got a N64 from Evotistical in today. Some of you may remember it as the one he found sitting outside for months and is quite dirty. Still don't know if it will run yet because my power brick died sometime lastnight. Will be hooking a PC power supply up soon for tests since they put out 12 and 3.3 volts DC current. Now for some pics of it. Sorry for quality, crappy Nintendo cameras...

Classic hardware collector and modifier. Currently focused on Sega, Xbox, and Nintendo stuff. New Xbox project:

How did you manage that? Says £220+ on their site.

  16. #1056
Not sure really I'd been watching it for about a week because I knew they had sold some instore at £100, they lowered the price online and at first it said out of stock but using chrome that I'd had open for a week or more managed to add to basket but it failed checkout flicking in/out of stock tried a 2nd time and got it, it's been out of stock since and now they've put the price back up. Twitpic'd the dispatch email at the time lol was well happy :D http://twitpic.com/8x23ce

Nice, the silver makes it look like a different console. What other colors are available in Europe? We only have black here in NA but I got the white slim with the pink FF13 character, Lightning on it.
    PSN ID: Alannmc <-2 N's

  18. #1058
Think there's 3 here black, the silver is exclusive to Game/Gamestation and white that's exclusive to Gamestop, that white FFXIII Lightning one is nice! it's one of the 2 JapaneseLEs I'd like to have that and Ni no Kuni gold.

Picked up an Amstrad Mega PC / Mega Drive controller for a few quid. Lucky too as I found a Mega PC with no controller!
Gave it a good clean out and it works good as new! Very happy with it

It has been a spendy weekend at a time when I'm skint and have billls to pay and problems to solve but meh:

Also picked up Lara Croft Guardian of Light @ £2.49 (download exclusive title with co-op love), LCGOL Legacy of Kain character pack DLC @ £0.49, LCGOL All the Trappings DLC @ £0.49, LCGOL Things that go Boom DLC @ £0.49, LCGOL Hazardous Reunion DLC @ £0.49, The Deus Ex Collection (Deus Ex Gold + Deus Ex Invisible War <3) @ £2.49 and finally Dungeon Siege I, II and III + Treasures of the Sun DLC @ £9.49, all in the Steam Square Enix Sales.

I also bought a molex to sata power connector which means I'm officially broke until pay day on Wednesday and I may be made homeless on Thursday... here's hoping for a court victory between now and then!
