Went to the airport last night to pick up my parents. Here's some stuff they brought for me:
The Move Starter Pack and Navigation Controller were WAY cheaper than what they sell around here, so i'll try it with some games like Heavy Rain and RE:5. If i don't like it, i can sell them and get my money back, plus more, easily.
Motorstorm Apocalypse was mandatory after all the fun i had with Pacific Rift. Both Heavy Rain Move Edition and RE:5 Gold Edition have all DLCs on disc. Fifa 11 was a gift from my uncle and the Beady Eye album is the special edition with a bonus DVD.

You have awesome parents.
If you've never played Heavy Rain then you're in for a treat, although I can't speak for the move edition.

Never played Heavy Rain, but i always had interest to. Lately i've been reading lots of praise for it, even more than when it was released. I guess it became a cult title and i'm glad i finally have it.
Yes. The Move Edition includes all patchs (including move compatibility), plus the Taxidermist DLC, the soundtrack and PS3 dynamic themes.

Picked up Rock Band 3 and Borderlands both for 360.
I can't wait to play Borderlands again...
Picked up a Toshiba Tecra M5 - Core Duo T2400 (1.83 GHz), 1gb ram, 60gb HDD laptop for £169.
Not sure how good a price that is as it's my first laptop ever but it looks good and i can add upto 4gb of ram which i will do plus i can upgrade the 60gb HDD if required although i don't think i will need to as it will only hold windows and installed windows programs.
As I got home I had a package delivered to me and inside I uncovered this beauty:
Get in there you beauty, the best part is I only paid £85 ($140) including delivery what a steal (brand new as well)

Uncharted Beta/Press/Preview discs wanted PM!

Why did they chose the Japanese kana for "bullet" = "ballet" (バレット)? This gets me annoyed ever since I first saw that cover!
The pronounciation is BOOLLIT, right? So why BALLET? They could do it in the 1968 action movie, couldn't they. :P

<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

Because they like to piss off foreigners. I honestly had no idea the game was called Bullet Soul at first because of the stupid katakana. honestly, katakana is the most pathetic crap ever. many times the Japanese can't even decide on a standard spelling and also they for some bloody reason don't even write the word correctly. Take General for example. In Japanese they write Zeneraru. Why use Ze????? They have Je in their language as ジェ.
I honestly do think they need to get rid of katakana for good. They say it's for foreign or "Gairaigo" words but they even use it for some Japanese words.
Yakumo
Please let me know what you think to bullet soul, as it's been given a rather savage review...
