There are some good games for it, like Virtua Racing or Knuckles' Chaotix. Stellar Assault is fun, too. But overall... let's say it's certainly not worth what sellers over here want for theirs. Not with a library of maybe 5 games worth playing.

Just bought a PSP Vita and Im digging it so far.

Went to EBgames and traded in $20 in games and they gave me $50 off the total cost and then for spending an extra $75 on accessories I got a free $20 PSN card, pretty sweet deal.

I really only have the PSP 3000 to compare it to because I skipped the PSP GO. I wasnt down with the fact that you couldnt buy hard copy games and only downloads.

Anyways, the screen is a nice size and its really clear.

The features are pretty good and its easy to use.

My only complaint so far is where the speakers are, there right by the analog stick and lots of times while Im playing I end up covering the speakers up. Its not a huge deal, just annoying sometimes.

Hey, did the n64 is RGB modded ? if so I bet you used the HDMI scaler for 1080p.... and does it works wonderfully ?

because I bought the same gears and I'm still waiting for the scaler to arrive. once it will, Ill make the mod and see how it renders.

No the N64 isn't RGB modded (or at least it wasn't advertised as such haven't used it a ton) as for the scaler so far it really hates my tv or at least I hope that's what it is. I let a friend borrow it to see how it did on his screen but he still hasn't tested it lol.

Have you tried setting it to 720p instead? I have a different model scaler of the sort that's defective or whatever, leading to artifacts in 1080p mode.

  9. #1269
Yeah I tried setting it to 720p. What happens is it flickers a lot. The screen will flash black and then come back for a second then will go back to being black. I've seen the tv do this before with my blu ray player as well. It's a vizio tv.

EDIT I also tried it on my computer monitor with a HDMI to DVI converter and it REALLY didn't like that. My monitors don't support 1080p so I tried 720p and it was still really crabby about that. Some times I would get an off center off color picture for a little bit but that was about it.

Here you go. I tried it on multiple systems. Neo Geo CD (japan), 3DO FZ10, and my debugging station PS1 NTSC. I have a Panasonic PT AX100U projector. The thing I love about projectors is that they can convert tons of different signals such as pal etc. So I have no problems playing just about anything. I posted some screen shots of them. I chose these because they have the direct out's and were easy to hook up to it. The Neo Geo CD had problems with both 720p and 1080p. It flashed on and off every 5 sec or so. It appeared that it kept trying to decode the signal. Here are the screen shots, 1st up 3DO

^^^Looks pretty damn good. This is on a 135" screen

    ^^^^signal mode 1080p 60hz

^^^^^^Star Blade, one of the greats for the 3DO...in my opinion..

    ^^^^Signal mode again..

    PS1 debug

    ^^again looked awesome..

    ^^last one.

Thanks knightrider You know I tested it with the Neo geo first as well. I'm not sure if I actually tried it with anything else lol. I'll have to steal it back now so I can try it with my Sega Genesis.

    Battlefield 3 Premium @ £39.99

It isn't good value for money, especially considering I already paid for B2K but more than that - I've had the game for 7 months and only spent 3 weeks or so playing it so meh. I'm also not a big fan of paying for patches, but sadly more than that the completionist in me has to have it all so =/ Oh well.

King Arthur II: The Role Playing Game @ £3.74 and Dead Legends DLC @ £1.99 in the Steam Sale.

I didn't bother buying the fiorst game or the collection as they were not held in high reghard at all, truth be told the only reason I bothered buying this was to experience the DirectX 11 love.
