You bought that set didn't you? You got a great deal there. Yep, they were just doubles that I had. I have a few more doubles knocking about somehere such as Steep Slop Sliders.

But then again, I only paid 100yen and 500yen for my mint Nissan Collection Video CD's and they beat every $700 Delisoba Deluxe to pieces in terms of rarity.
YOu sure did get that for a good price but I'm not too sure on it being very rare. Then again it's not like I've been on the look out for it either.

Meh I reinstalled MSN to stalk a board member then spotted a chap with an OCZ Agility 3 60Gb SSD for sale @ £40... so I impulse bought it. I lent mine to a friend a few weeks ago as theirs was faulty and I couldn't stand to go back to mechanical HDD any longer so I had to have it, especially at that price!

I've been after one of these for years! Knight saber (Priss) with bike from Bubblegum Crisis. They've always been a bit too expensive for me however I got this one for 550 yen :) Now, when will I have time to make it?

Just bought Portal 2 for £5.09 (Steam sales) upto chapter 2 so far and it's been brilliant, seeing the original all busted up in the manor it is is amazing.

    I don't buy games often, but when I can, I do :)

Result (DC part) of my trip to Japan last month: quantity over quality this time, but some nice deals were found:
PSO network trial edition for 20 yen,
What's Shenmue - famitsu edition for 100 yen,
Interlude ichigo milk version for 500 yen...

So what kind of kit is it? If it's a plamo then you should have that sucker together in an hour or two as those clip together ones are pretty easy. If it's gluing & painting kind then err yeah you might need to invest quite a bit of time hehe. Will be fun to build when you get around to it, at that price it was a steal.

It's a paint job so yeah, it will take some time plus it may be a bugger to build as the bike has to transform in to the power suit. Luckily it tells you the basic instructions in English and what paints to buy.

    Got myself a PS3 Slim 160GB (CECH-3001A) last week.
I originally wanted to go for one of the first models with HW BC, but didn't find any locally at a reasonable price... and most of these were dead anyway. I then tried to find a model I could use CFW with (only interested in running OtherOS) but had no luck either...

Anyway, I'm enjoying the system so far, though there's quite some things I don't like; especially on the PSN Store "app" itself...

I also got Monsters Inc in Blu-ray, and a friend lent me Batman The Dark Knight and Avatar. Although I had seen all of these before, I loved watching them again, in 1080p this time :)

Man, why is the Book Off in Vancouver so good? I've been there yesterday and although I already know that I'm buying something EVERY SINGLE TIME I go, I didn't expect to necessarily make a purchase. But well...

The Train Simulator Real: Yamanote-sen for $28 is a steal. Even on Yahoo it costs 3500-4000yen ($40-45 + all commission/shipping on top!) and ebay prices start at $81 lol.

The other titles were all $5 each and are mint. IREM's firefighter-simulation (Sakurazaka Shouboutai) is worth $20 on Yahoo it seems and I've always wanted to play it. So why not also grab Konami's competitor Firefighter FD18?
And the GTA's were basically a no brainer. The entire PS2 trilogy + 1x guide for $17... nice. I find it crazy how late they decided to release them in Japan. GTA III came out in 2003, GTA San Andreas even as late as 2007 (1 year before GTA IV was released!).
Does anyone know if they feature Japanese audio? The screenshots in the VC guide imply at least English subtitles and ingame text, but I'm not sure if they were taken from the US version.
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

All the good deals are gone now XD

Just kidding, they are getting new stuff in quite frequently. Sometimes it's better than other times, but usually I find at least 1 title. And they have some weird stuff that nobody will EVER buy I believe. Or what do you think how high is the demand in 2012 Vancouver for a Japanese guidebook for the 3DO-version of Super Street Fighter 2? Lol

Super red ps2, no stand or box... gonna be impossible to get separately. but glad to finally have one.

Yes, they told me they get their games from locals who sell it to them (for the most part).

Vancouver- where the asians are the majority.

No complaints though, love the food options, and the deals with imported stuff.

Serious Sam Complete Pack (Classic First Encounter, Classic Second Encounter, The Random Encounter, HD First Encounter, HD Second Encounter + Legend of the Beast DLC, Serious Sam Double D, Serious Sam 2 and Serious Sam 3 BFE) @ £16.25 via Steam

I already had the first and second encounters so I have gifted them to one of my co-op nagas and coerced another to buy the complete pack. That's what they get for making me buy SkyDrift yesterday muahahaha!
