There are two installs, the standard which takes about 15 minutes, and then if you go into the options menu, you can do a full install or something like that which takes about 50 minutes, and reduces the loading times on everything in the game.

Well, from all the games i have only GT5P and GT5 had long installs. The rest didnt had any install whatsoever or maybe if they had it was hidden because videos, animations, menus, and so on.

I think the list over at satakore.com is pretty much complete. At least every obscurity I've ever stumled upon is listed there (like PictFlash DonDon, that Chinese RPG with a JPN release, koei stuff) and it correlates with the list on Game Data Room.

That said, there must be around 1265 Japanese SS games including ALL variations. According to SataKore there are 235 Japanese sample/hibaihin/taikenban discs. Every obscure disc I did some research on is there (DS Extra Dungeon, Sakura Taisen, Final Romance R), but I noticed that some variations are summarized in one entry: Baroque CD Data File, for instance, is known to exist in three versions: cardboard, cardboard (another) and a CD case version.

But anyway, 1125 is pretty damn close O_o Almost less than 100 to go. What are the rarest games you are still trying to track down? Some special-quadruple-mega edition of some SETA-Mahjongg game? Or some Koei premium packs (the square-sized ones)? Those are rare and if they pop up at once, then always with a silly starting bid. -_- The carton is also pretty weak so getting them in good condition is a pain in the ass!

I've now got 1126 :) Picked up another title today.

I have all of the Angelique special packs (Way too many) but I am missing all but one of the Koei twin packs. I think I also own all of the Seta P Mahjong club discs as well as the regular editions.

One disc that I've been trying to get for almost 10 years now is Devlo cover disc. They have a picture of it at Satakore

One thing I have noticed is that a few games seem to be listed twice but they are 100% identical apart from the catalogue number. Cross Tantei Monogatari is a good example. I can understand needing to list both catalogue numbers but surely that would class as 1 release since both discs look the same and contain the same data. There are also a few catalogue number errors OR I have versions of the game with a different catalogue number.

Off-topic, but anyways. The install took 43 minutes, and the 608mb 1.05 update took a little more than an hour to download.

    FINALLY!!!! I got one!!!

Won the above Net Yaroze on Yahoo Auctions this morning! I'm actually glad its has the marks on the console and controllers because now I won't have to worry about getting scratches on the unit when I use it!

Also its the DTL-H3001, so I don't have to worry about blowing out the PSU, since its designed for 120V!!! I believe the Japanese Units are designed for 100V . . .

Don't know shipping yet, but before shipping it was 90 bucks roughly. I'm happy with that purchase. I looked into a Net Yaroze on eBay that was just the console, nothing else and it was a BIN for 159.99 and shipping was $45 bucks for a total price of 204.99.

And here was another one that was basically what I got minus one of the controllers but had a BIN for 199.99 and shipping was 69.00 bucks putting the total price at 268.99.

    Yeah I paid a lot for it but I really didn't . . .

    Right...

My friend saw Kane & Lynch 2 Limited Edition in Morrisons and called me to let me know if I wanted him to pick it up for me... so I said yes (as the first I bought the seller sent me the standard edition when I paid for LE...)

My friend just came and dropped it off. I unsealed it put the code into PSN and guess what? The fucking LE code doesn't work! And there are 3 DLC which are LE-only too =/

So thats one LE I paid for that I got ripped off with a standard version and another LE that I did receive but with defective code (and yes I tried entering code more than once, friend checked in case I was being a retard too!).

He will try take it back for an exchange or refund but I'm not holding out much hope as the game has been unsealed...

This is getting rather annoying =/

EDIT: As an update my friend managed to exchange it for another LE code, but that cod didn't work eithr FFS! SO he got a rfund and I still lack the LE DLC. It seems daft that they didn't put the fucking things on the BD-ROM anyway but I guess it is because they probably intend to sell the DLC at a later date :S

Put down a sizeable deposit on a Sega NAOMI 512mb NetDIMM with a view to eventually building a fully funcitonal NAOMI II supergun before I move it into a cabinet ;) Kinda hard to do it on my budget but luckily I can get the setup one piece at a time! :P
