Hi guys...uhm well, I always wanted to put a 360 in a suitcase...
so far I´ve organized a Suitcase, jtagged the oldest of my 2 360´s,
and replaced the coolers with a Zalman CNPS7000C-Cu LED for the CPU and a Zalman VF700-Cu LED for the GPU+EDRAM (I did it because the 360 is a Falcon but had Xenon Coolers and it keeps my 360 at 39°C CPU, 55°C GPU and EDRAM and 37°C MB after hours of gaming)
Pics:
because of the coolers there is no space (and because of the JTag no need) for the DVD Drive that´s why i decided to make it external,
but i got a problem:
I wanted to take a 25 pin SPI and solder the power and SATA cables to it, so I only need to attach one plug to the external DVD case.
That´s what i did, BUT it gave me an E65.
after thinking about I decided that i should try a thicker cable for the ground (I made all 3 ground from the SATA Plug into one ground)
after this i do get an E64...
anyone got an Idea?
I used cables with a 0.2 mm diameter for all cables beside the ground from the SATA cable and the cables are around 25-30 cm/ 1 ft long and I ran out of ideas....
any suggestions for how to fix the E64 Problem are welcome
I guess i will get me a new SATA cable and try if the Drive works if i connect the SATA as usual and just connect the power cable with the SPI
