Yay I managed to order a super everdrive :) does anyone know if I can use the dsp1 chip from super mario kart and use it for my super everdrive?

Just got my SuperEverdrive from Stoneagegamer in the mail today, cant wait to start playing this thing. This my first everdrive and I dont want to mess it up. I couldnt really find instructions on how to work it so I just want to make sure I get it right
First Full format the sd card on the pc.
Then Format it on the supereverdrive
Put the roms on it
Play

That sounds about right. Just make sure you dont have more than 200 files in a folder :)
Forgive a noob for asking but, I've got a PAL Snes and want to mod it to output NTSC 60hz. Is the Super Everdrive "compatible" with the switchless SuperCIC mod or do I need to put mechanical on/off switches on the back?
The supercic mod basically does the same as the switches for 50/60hz. it just drives the pins on the ppu's high or low (same as switches connecting to 5v and gnd).
I got my Super Everdrive in the mail today. Seems to work alright but every time it tries to auto backup a save it fails and gives and error and the game doesn't start.
What am I doing wrong? Never seen anything like this on my MegaDrive Everdrive. Have formatted the SD card several times.save settings...
auto backup save...
ERROR: auto save sram:20
If I turn off auto save in the options the games start just fine, but it's not really cool without auto backup :(

OS can't create save datafile by some reasons. try to format sd card, then write just one game, then flah this game. after that copy all other games

Doesn't seem to work :( Formatted the SD. Copied Super Turrican, flashed and played that. Then copied Actraiser, and flashed that, same error.

anyway OS v10 will be available soon and all super ed SD glitches should be gone
