^^ system debugger is not a regular debug or tool, and likely only system debuggers are DEHR AND DECR units. 0 of these have been seen for sale in public.

^^ oh surely, one for all their target hardware of the time. I just meant to correct his confusion of "debugging station for playstation3" vs a system debugger.

System debuggers aren't for average joes anyway, they use special "I" firmwares with special keys in there.

Sure ebay might be the last place to find them, but maybe you missed what I said.

And about the DECR pictured only the owner can really say if it was one of the ones that a seller put 4 or so of up on ebay. And anyone who watched those sales know they went pretty cheap (at least the first 2) so the owner of that one might want to deny it was one from there because the low price paid is known.

And apart from that I was referring to system debuggers only.

edit.. just remembered there was one CEB sold on ebay, seller didn't provide any pics but one was on there, and I'm sure more ppl than just I remember the auction.

if you do not see a thing, does not mean he does not exist... developers or SCE perason to work for it, have policy to not release any info of those material, but... this exist... and not few quantity...

I remember an auction that used one of the photos floating around the net (of the ~6U unit). It was an outright scam.

They use different non-random loader keys and have symbols on most their binaries. Besides that they are more or less regular firmwares.

I'd assume the "I" stands for internal, but one can only assume.

It does, all the other firmwares are "E" ones, (External)
