    1) when crashes come? from begin of cart usage or after some time (few days or weeks)?
    2) which system you use? (genny/megadrive 1/2, multimega, genny+32x, etc)
    3) crashes present in all games, or only in MK2U, double dragon 3, sor?
    4) it is original ROMs or some hacks?

    this you can try now:
    update OS to v9
try burn games with disabled "fast write" option

KRIKzz, I bought my Everdrive in August of 2010, we worked on it briefly because it wouldn't allow my US Sega CDs to load EU or JPN bios. I haven't updated more than the OS since then and wanted to check with you before trying to update the Firmware. I have an overclocked Genesis Model 1 now and the Everdrive turns off or won't load with the overclock. I see that the second to last firmware takes the Everdrive off the CPU clock, and the latest firmware supports all bios loading on all Sega CD hardware.

What I don't know is what revision of the Everdrive I have and I read the warning about loading the wrong firmware on the wrong revision. Is it possible to know what revision I have based on the purchase date?

    Info:
    OS: 29
    firmware: 8

Okay, cool. I'll order the JTAG cable and get it updated. Thanks KRIKzz.

Okay, I got in the USB Blaster and JTAG cable and finally opened my Everdrive shell to see that there is nothing installed on the board where the JTAG holes are. I just wanted to make sure that a 10 pin header connector like this is what is expected. I would rather there not be any guesswork on doing this so I would appreciate any advice that isn't in the user manual.
