Is it ok to run a recovery on one of these kits from china, because i heard somewhere that they are running a hacked recovery. Has anyone who has one tried it?

The recovery was for prototype units.

You should be fine to use a recovery on any kit, I used recovery 9XXX with no problems.

Even if you try to use it on a early proto kit it should warn you that it can't update past a certain kernel so there's no risk either way.

No. The recovery was for beta 2 kits specifically lol. To say it's for prototypes means it's for my Prototype Jasper, my Prototype Zephyr, etc, which is false can I can run any normal recovery on em. Even my prototype xenon.

This isn't a consumer waste dev kit, but it's in the same categorie and I didn't think it needed its own thread. Some guy in Europe posted a video of him winning an actuion for xbox 360/electronic accessories. 40 dev kit PSUs was among some of the things he got. Thought maybe you guys might want some of it. He talks about the PSUs near the end of the video (its 15 mins long)
