Whoever bought it probably didn't know that IMSA has been publicly released. The last 3 FZ-35's didn't sell anywhere near that amount but they didn't have a CD-R of IMSA bundled with them.
So glad I have a closet full of those kiosks. I should cash in and buy a fishing boat.
I'm surprised that so many people consider owning FZ-35s a treasure. This is not the assemblergames I remember. The community never bought them when they were $50 because no one really considered them M2's. There are so many of them out there. Same reason no one cares that you have M2 arcade boards... they are just common arcade boards...nothing special. I concede that M2 enthusiasts want every piece..
The FZ 21 and similars were the real goal for most of us. Granted they didn't all play unifinished demo's, but they were the console in spirit. Anyone can own an FZ 35. The new breed of M2 collectors are a little jaded IMO, but to each their own.
The FZ 35 is a kiosk. A Kiosk that can run M2 CDR's.

I agree with this for the most part. Having actually used M2s at a company where I used to work for training, I just don't really get the appeal of the FZ-35s. Panasonic sold quite a few of them to commercial and industrial users (I know we had a few dozen and a couple of dev kits) and they had long since given up any hope of them being used for home gaming at the time they were released. I think maybe it's because they are pretty close in internal design to the final hardware of the intended console gaming unit, but from my perspective, I'd rather own the arcade boards as at least those are fun to play.
the ebay m2 + devkit from lingjr might have been brought, i donīt see him anymore.
Less than 24 hours to go...
